Coined by many as Northern Maine's “best kept dining secret,” this intimate, yet casual restaurant offers a delightful dining experience. The Café's success can only be attributed to chef and owner Joyce Transue. With several years of experience in the Boston area, Joyce brings a cosmopolitan flair to her cuisine that enhances the already wonderful flavors of the traditional foods of this most northern New England State.
Blessed by the area's bounty of local homegrown fruits and vegetables, and the availability of fresh fish and seafoods, The Café's menu changes daily. The Café is well recognized for its great seafood and fish, always fresh and cooked to perfection. For the not so nautical taste, The Café presents a variety of meats and poultry. Vegetarian meals are also available upon request. All menu items, salad dressings, breads and desserts are made on the premises with a keen eye for beauty and presentation as well as for superb taste.
Whether partaking of a light lunch or a full dinner, an extensive selection of wines, beers and mixed drinks are available to enhance your meal.
Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 10:30
AM to 2:30 PM. Treat yourself to unique and delicious homemade
soups and chowders, specialty sandwiches, hot daily specials, quiches
and freshly baked breads and rolls. 
Dinner hours are Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Friday and Saturday hours are from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The dinner menu offers a gourmet selection of savory appetizers, entrees and desserts.
